Here are some of favorite quick and easy to prep GUILTLESS snacks :)
Shakeology Energy Bites:
-1 cup chocolate Shakeolgoy
-1 cup All-natural peanut butter (I like the crunchy kind)
-1/3 cup agave
Mix it all up, and roll into little balls...or have fun and use a cookie cutter to make fun shapes.
Feel free to play around w/ it as well. Sometimes I like to mix in finely chopped up cranberries, and then roll in coconut shreds. There are tons of ways to get creative...just use half a brain ;)
Just puree some frozen berries and a frozen banana....and voila.
***Note: Just freeze them yourself, I do! Don't spend extra on buying frozen fruits when you can just do it yourself!
Apple and 1 tbps of all-natural peanut butter
Bowl of Mixed Fruits
Olive Oil Popcorn (I get this from Whole Foods, but you can find other popcorns that are great snacks--just check the ingredients and make sure the only things you see are air popped corn, olive/sunflower oil (preferably not vegetable oil), and a little salt)
Corn Thins Have it plain, spread some laughing cow cheese on it, or PB&J
Celery sticks & carrot sticks (plain or w/ Hummus, or PB)
Bell peppers (red, green, yellow, orange)
Shakeology Bars/Cookies (Like Cliff Bars)
4 scoops of tropical or chocolate shakeology
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 cups granola (Be careful of granola w/ sugar! better subs are agave, stevia, brown rice syrup)
1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter (or I'm sure any kind of nut butter will taste good)
1 cup almond milk
2 dashes of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of sundried strawberries (or other sun dried fruit of your preference)
Mix it all up, and you canmake bars out of them, or I just made cookies...supposedly it makes 9 bars, but I imagine those must be huge bars 'cause I made like 40 cookies!
Chocolate Shakeology Pie
2 scoops chocolate Shakeology
1 container tofu, silken or firm (approx. 12 oz)
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (my favorite is Whole Food's 365 brand)
Skim milk (I just use almond milk) enough to blend and to favorable texture
1 whole grain pie crust (health food stores often have ones that are made without preservatives and other unfavorable ingredients)
Cinnamon to taste (recommended)
Organic chocolate chips for decoration
1/2 cup canned pumpkin for autumn flavor pie
Directions: If necessary, bake pie crust per instructions on wrapper. Blend other basic ingredients in blender. Mix in optional/recommended ingredients. Pour mixture into pie crust (Make sure pie crust has cooled). Sprinkle more optional/recommended ingredients for decorative purposes. Chill pie in refrigerator until cold.
Feel free to get creative with additional ingredients, just keep them whole and clean so you don't defeat the purpose of the GUILTLESS snack/dessert part ;)
Enjoy with friends!
