One of my girls came to me today for extra help and personal training. She has a bikini-ready deadline approaching sooner than she anticipated; and I told her not to sweat it—we’ve got this. So, we set up a general plan, and I put her on my eat clean diet. Mind you, this “eat clean diet” is not a short term gig you do every now and then to cleanse and lose weight, then get dirty again and gain back the weight—it’s a lifestyle. Once you commit short-term to eating clean, it’s very hard to go back—your body just won’t let you.
So anyways, after I finished telling her what items to avoid (items that the body considers toxic), I told her I’d do this with her. She already knows that working out and eating clean is already in my regular lifestyle routine, but I wanted her to know that I was doing this WITH her. Since my Eat Clean Challenge in January, eating clean has become a lifestyle for me; but hey, I’m only human, and every now and then I want my favorite dessert at Crème de la Crepe. And it's not like I had a poor diet before the Eat Clean Challenge, but I've definitely since learned that my body does NOT like gluten or sugar.
For the next couple months, we’re going to keep her and myself on a 100% clean diet; and since I know how hard that can be, because you may find yourself “alone” when it comes to change, I wanted to make sure she’s not alone here. That’s what I’m here for right? As a Beachbody coach, two of my main purposes are to provide accountability and motivation, along with guidance and tools to help people reach and live their fitness and health goals. It’s like going to see any personal trainer…except my coaching is free :). You’re the one who has to get your butt out of bed, get dressed, get down to the gym, and give it your all (or not); and your trainer provides you with guidance, accountability, and motivation.
You never have to be alone. Some things must be down on our own, but we never have to truly and actually be alone. Like when you’re going through a break-up—you have to heal on your own, but you’re never truly and actually alone because you’ve got your friends and family supporting you…and sometimes even strangers or people who barely know you.
And when you’re with me, I’ll never let you be alone. Don’t worry, I got you babe ;).
BIG LOVE & BIG HUGS
