Craving pizza, but don’t want to regret it or feel gross afterwards? Well, go on and have it. Who says you can’t make a perfectly healthy, wholesome, and satisfying pizza?
For your crust, get one made of whole grains, or one that is gluten-free if you you’re on a gluten-free diet. You can even use a corn tortilla. Spread/spray olive oil on both sides, before laying it on a cookie sheet that should also have some olive oil on it.
Sauce—make your own, or find one that doesn’t have wheat or sugar in it, or things that just don’t need to be in a tomato sauce.
Cheese—use parmesan, or try a nut cheese for a non-dairy cheese.
Top it with all your favorite veggies. Slice up your favorite lean, and fresh sandwich meats, and add that to the pie, or even anchovies if ya dig those.
Stick it in the oven at 400 degrees until the crust is crispy and the cheese is melted, and voila. You have pizza that is healthier and yummier than the one delivered to you by gross midnight pizza delivery boy. Giddy up.
