As if I don’t have enough stress in my life, the Lakers haven’t made it much easier this season. And last night’ss game? Last night’s game was VERY stressful, but ultimately, extremely GLORIOUS. Yes, well done boys. They were losing most of the game, and then all of sudden towards the end they were close, and then when Kobe made that three-pointer to tie the game with five seconds left I literally flew out of my seat. From the last few minutes of the fourth quarter through the end of the game, my left hand was clenched around my wristlet so tightly, it clamped up and I had a claw hand walking out of the game. It was such a nerve-wracking game I thought I was going to break out in hives. I definitely broke out in a sweat though. I couldn’t even sit for those five minutes of overtime. Holy moly. My head was still spinning from the excitement when I went to bed.
Just as a side note—if you are a part of my personal life, and we make plans, and then I wind up with Laker tickets, you will get ditched. Unless you’re able to come with me, of course. But that’s just a universal rule. Nothing personal.
I can’t wait for Pau to fully recover and get back in the game. His brother may have gotten the looks in the family, but he got the brains and that is way hotter. Not to mention, he’s just so humble and nice. I completely adore him. If we ever trade him, I think I might have to go Queen Victoria on the world and wear black for the rest of my life—so lets hope that doesn’t ever happen.
BIG LOVE & HUGS
