I didn’t know what to expect of this movie when I first saw the preview. I just made a mental note to watch it if I get a chance, because I like Bradley Cooper. What girl doesn’t? And even though I haven’t seen “The Hunger Games,” I’ve recently developed a new respect and admiration for Jennifer Lawrence. I saw a picture of her on the beach in a bikini, and she wasn’t a stick figure. She looked very fit, and just beautiful.
So anyways, I went to an early afternoon screening with one of my best friends, and my favorite friend to watch movies with—we just love movies. Like I said though, I didn’t know what to expect. I had no idea what genre this movie was in, or what it was about at all. However, I was not expecting the brilliant storyline and performance that I fell in love with over the course of two hours. This is hands down Bradley Cooper’s best performance yet, and I hope he is well-recognized for this role during award season.
I don’t want to give away the story, because it totally caught me off-guard—though, I’m not sure if it’s because my mind has been too preoccupied with finals for the last month and a half to pay attention to the preview of the movie, or if the preview really was that vague. All I will tell you is that it is a beautiful story, and utterly hilarious.
BIG LOVE & BIG HUGS
