 The first few days of the World Cup have been pretty exciting, and it seems Brasil took away a few lessons from Sochi. Apparently, accommodations were all ready for everyone, but the stadiums were not. At least our athletes have not been breaking down walls after getting stuck in bathrooms.

 I almost forgot that I had tickets for Sunday night's Dodger game against the Pirates, and after the Kings lost game 6, I almost didn't want to go, because the Kings game was more important at this point. But honestly, it's hard to keep me away from a live game. Plus I figured going to this game might help me manage the stress of game 7, especially because I'd be able to find comfort in the gloriousness of a Dodger dog.
 In the last week I went to my first NFL and college football game. It was a good week of football for me…except for Dallas losing today!!! Uggh, I’m not even going to get into that. Anyways…let’s talk about my time in Alabama this weekend. I went to an amazing school—UC Santa Barbara—but we didn’t have a football team. We had a fantastic soccer team, but no football team. So, I never got the college football experience. Thus, I knew that the only way to get in the absolute college football experience was to 1) go SEC, and 2) go Bama. Needless to say, I had a fabulous weekend.
