GO KINGS GO!

I almost forgot that I had tickets for Sunday night's Dodger game against the Pirates, and after the Kings lost game 6, I almost didn't want to go, because the Kings game was more important at this point.  But honestly, it's hard to keep me away from a live game.  Plus I figured going to this game might help me manage the stress of game 7, especially because I'd be able to find comfort in the gloriousness of a Dodger dog.
To be honest, Dodger dogs are the wimpiest looking hots dogs I've ever seen in my life.  They're long and skinny, like something you'd roast on a failed camping trip.  However, when you're at a Dodger game, you just have to have one--and no matter what, they're still awesome.

The great thing about tonight's game though, was that everyone was also live streaming the Kings' game on their phones or getting updates from someone.  So, when my future husband scored the winning goal, the entire stadium went crazy, and for a little while as they showed the replay on the jumbo-tron, everyone there seemed to forget that there was a baseball game going on.  It was comical and wonderful at the same time, because it was like the City of Angels was truly united there in Dodger Stadium.  We were there for our boys in blue and white, and there for our boys in black, silver, and white.

Unfortunately, the Dodgers did not also win tonight; but it was more important for the Kings to win tonight, so hooray!  You could not wipe that stupid, giant smile off my face as we walked out of the stadium.  And you still can't.  The Dodger game did get quite exciting at the end though, so it was pretty awesome, because it kind of felt like the Kings sent their good ju ju over.  And I got to indulge in a Dodger dog, and I ate frozen yogurt out of a mini Dodger hat.

In any case….STANLEY CUP, HERE WE COME!!!!!! GO KINGS GO!!!!!

BIG LOVE & HUGS

Love,

Justine
