I'm not really sure that a spoiler alert is necessary for a film based on a true story, but just in case…you're warned.
Ever since the first trailer of this film came out, I knew I had to see it and that I would love it.  Sure enough, I loved it.  You want a good love story?  Well, here's a great one for you.  First of all, it sums up the essence of love in time--from the moment you meet, to the moment you know you're in love, to the moment you have a breakthrough, to the moment you know you've give it all you've got, and to the moment you realize you've created something beautiful.  Secondly, there are no greater stories than true stories.

Eddie Redmayne better get an Oscar for his performance here.  He was absolutely brilliant--the way he captured his mannerisms, his voice…all simply incredible.  No to mention, he was just absolutely lovely and lovable.

Felicity Jones' performance was also impeccable.  I have been a fan of hers for a long time now, and it's great to see her in such a telling role and story.

I was reading an article today about everything Lifetime and the producers did wrong with the Aaliyah biopic that premiered on Lifetime last weekend, and if we used that article to judge "The Theory of Everything," then this film was done 100% spot on.

What makes this story so powerful, is not only the inspiration found in Stephen Hawkings defiance of defeat, but also Jane's inspiring strength.  Though they don't stay married in the end, you know that true love exists between them and will always bind them.

It's a limited release, so if it's playing at a theatre near you, do go see it!

BIG LOVE & HUGS

Love,

Justine
